This heavy-duty travel kennel is compliant with the standards specified in the 51st edition (2025) of the IATA Live Animals Regulation for live animal transport, including door, side, and back ventilation requirements. It also meets most airline cargo specifications for safe travel; always check with airlines beforehand.

The Petmate® Sky Kennel® Includes Ready-to-Fly Essentials: 2 "LIVE ANIMAL" stickers, a food and water cup, ID stickers, and absorbent material to keep your pet comfortable during the journey. Made in the USA: This plastic dog crate is proudly made in the USA from EcoTEC™ Plastic, which contains a minimum of 90% pre-consumer recycled material engineered for strength and durability critical for a safe pet carrier.

So, what's all the fuss about kennel sizes? Well, imagine your pet trying to stand up, turn around or sit down in a kennel that's too small for him. The best way to select the perfect kennel size is while your dog is standing, measure your dog from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail. While your dog is sitting or standing, measure your dog from the top of their head to the floor. The height of the kennel should be 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet so there's ample space to fully stand up, easily turn around, and comfortably lie down! Too small and your pet will be uncomfortable; too large and your pet might attempt to use the bathroom in his space.
